TWELVE PROFESSIONAL WEEKEND IMMERSIONS: Watch your teaching evolve as America’s finest teachers steep you in the in-depth study of alignment and anatomy, sequencing and structure, history and philosophy, subtle body and pranayama, the art of delivery and creativity, and the business of building a professional teaching career.
MINI-TRAININGS & SPECIALIZATIONS: Leave ready to teach themed and specialty classes or offer captivating workshops. The training includes ten mini-trainings: Therapeutic Yoga, Pre/postnatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Ayurveda, Kids & Teens, Inversion Expertise, as well as Ashtanga, Iyengar and yoga traditions from around the world.
TEACHING IN LIVE CLASSROOMS & THE WIDER COMMUNITY: A highlight of the Professional Program is the individualized and detailed feedback provided by senior teachers Natasha Rizopoulos and Director Justine Cohen in small group and live classroom settings. Further experience comes through the Karma Yoga unit which places trainees in different teaching environments in the wider community and has proven to be one of the most beloved modules of the training.
Cost: $3600 Early Bird by November 1st/ $3800 thereafter or with payment plan
*Tuition includes all materials and trainings. A minimum of 30 classes over the course of the year with Down Under faculty is also required. Teacher Training students have access to Down Under’s student rates for the duration of the training. A completed application and $500 deposit are required to secure space in the training. The remaining balance of $3,100 is due November 1, 2017. After November 1st or with payment plan the balance increases to $3,300. Deposits and fees are non-refundable. Late payment of payment plans attract additional fees.
